Traditional Experience Therapy

Experiencing Korean Traditional Culture in Suseong-gu

The Korean Traditional Culture Experience therapy Center held a daily experience of “Darye” and “Donguibogam Food” for 20 Thai fam tour tourists.

This experience is one of the fam tour programs invited by local travel agencies and influencers in Thailand following the first regular route between Daegu Airport and Bangkok Airport in Thailand.

Thai tourists made mushroom japchae through lectures and demonstrations by Kim Eun-sook, a culinary researcher, in the “Donguibogam Food” experience.

Various ingredients, including mushrooms, were sliced thinly and seasoned directly using salt and soy sauce.

In addition, in the “Darye” experience, instructor Kim Mi-kyung learned traditional manners such as how to wear hanbok and bow, and tasted Korean green tea and experienced Korean traditional tea.

Kamontip Kanuengkla, a Thai tourist who participated in the experience, said, “This is the first time to experience Korean traditional culture in hanbok, and it was good that the instructor explained the meaning of the tea ceremony and hanbok one by one.”

Kim Dae-kwon, Mayor of Suseong-gu Office, said, “The Mo Myung-jae Korean Traditional Culture Experience Center is a space to expand the space of thought and convey the true meaning of food,” adding, “I hope Thai tourists will experience the value of Korean traditional culture and return to their home countries.”

Chosun Royal Fragrance Therapy and Traditional Fragrance Munhyang Experience

Daegu Oriental Medical University’s Humanities City Support Project (Director Kim Young) recently announced that it held a humanities experience of “Chosun Royal Fragrance Therapy and Traditional Hyangdo Munhyang” with the Gyeongsan Rural Childcare Information Center (Center Director Jin Hyun-mi).

Under the theme of “Experiencing the Healing of the Joseon Royal Family,” this humanities experience was designed to overcome COVID-19 and restore daily life through humanities experiences of female farmers.

Through the experience, female farmers listened to the effects of various herbal medicines, smelled the scent themselves, made a one-way bag, and had time to wash away the fatigue of the whole body with an oriental foot bath experience.

Jin Hyun-mi, head of the center, said, “All female farmers responded that they felt their whole body healthy while enjoying a change of mood and experiencing Korean traditional herbal medicine.”

Meanwhile, Daegu Oriental Medicine University, along with Suseong-gu and Gyeongsan-si, Daegu, was selected for the Humanities City Support Project in 2021 under the theme of “Humanities Hyanggi City with Oriental Medicine, Open Hope for Healing.” As a result, it has been receiving state funds and response funds for about three years since July last year, and is pushing for a variety of projects to experience the practical resilience of humanities to local people after COVID-19.

Traditional Beauty Care “Bangjja Therapy”

Traditional Therapy - Bangjja Therapy

I met with Lee Eun-kyung, CEO of Cure Lab Beauty Business Department, who developed Bangjja Therapy, which applied traditional Korean hot and cold therapy using copper and tin. Bangjja Therapy is still an unfamiliar term for beauty care, but CureLab regularly holds “Bangjja Therapy Academy” to foster professionals and founders.

CEO Lee Eun-kyung plans to lead traditional K-beauty through Bangjja Therapy.

I heard that you are the developer of Bangjja Therapy. What is Bangjja Therapy?

In the past, I had a chance to watch a spa messe in Stuttgart, Germany, from 2003 to 2004. From beauty therapy containing traditions from each country to cosmetics, tools, devices, and spa systems, it really seemed to see a new world. Through my precious experience, I have a goal to present therapy tools and beauty therapy that contain the most Korean traditions and values in the same place someday. At this time, I came back to Korea with one determination and thought for a long time about the development of Korean beauty therapy and what is the best way to promote it.

While thinking about what the hell is Korean and what I can do now, I came up with the brass bowl that I treated the most preciously during my childhood ritual, and I had a question mark in my mind, “Why don’t we make something based on Bangjja Yugi?”

Bangjja Therapy is an optimal well-aging therapy that naturally strengthens the body rhythm of the whole body by balancing the face and body from muscle tissue in the skin to the surface line, making visible lines smooth, healthy, and beautiful. On top of that, it is a new concept of K beauty therapy that combines modern science and traditional handwriting techniques based on Korean traditions and healing value.

Please tell us more about the tools that Bangjja Therapy uses

In the past, when infectious diseases were prevalent, the wisdom of ancestors to prevent the spread of infectious diseases due to tableware was Bangjjagi, which was mixed with copper and tin, and the current Bangjjagi was made by beating at a ratio of 78% copper and 22%.

Why did it have to be Bangjja-gi? The answer lies in the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects of copper, which is an ingredient of Bangjja organic. This has been proven through countless clinical trials around the world and has strong antibacterial and toxin-releasing functions, so it is judged to be a material that can be applied to beauty therapy.

The high-quality quality of the Bangjja material itself, which is made of 78% copper and 22% tin of Korean traditional Bangjja, can prevent germs and viruses from reproducing, is basic, and above all, we put the most effort into the design that will enable differentiated beauty therapy and techniques.

Flat or unbent sphincter cannot properly therapy the human body in a three-dimensional curved form. The design of Bangjja tools that I have developed so far has been researched and tested for a long time, always looking into my hands to see how the hands of the real terafist move whenever I technically do it to customers.

It is a self-therapy tool based on research and experience so that design can soon become a technique, including “Leaf Gourm,” “Leaf Nayum,” and “Artisan,” the most recently released “Bangjja My healer.” Unlike regular flat brackets, all have different thicknesses from angle to angle, so it is differentiated that accurate management and techniques can be done by oneself while touching all parts of the human body from head to toe without hurting.

Also, due to the nature of Bangjja material, if you put it in hot water, it gets warm and cold immediately, so you can do both heat and cooling therapy. This is why we can name our therapy Bangjja Therapy in a word. As it is designed based on the know-how gained through 30 years of spa therapy, unlike other tools that are flat or divided into parts, it is an all-in-one self-tool that allows the face and body techniques at the same time with the design patent is registered.

I heard there’s a new program that’s recently released and is in the spotlight

It is a vitalizing program that combines the “central body temperature rise perspiration indicator” developed by SIM to make it easier and more effective in esthetic or spa, and the in vivo nitric oxide-generating patented ingredient “TOLOESE” developed by Cure Lab.

What is Torres?

Toles, developed by Cure Lab for four years by combining five minerals, is a substance that induces the production of nitric oxide in the body that promotes basic functions of the body by emitting light of 5-20 μm, and succeeded in proving its effect through clinical trials at Busan Catholic University last year.

What is an indicator of elevated central body temperature and sweating?

When our bodies feel the heat, information that is “hot” is transmitted to the pituitary gland, and orders that sweat from the pituitary gland, which is finally transmitted to the sweat glands according to the action of the nervous system, so that we sweat and maintain a constant body temperature. It is normal for healthy adults to sweat more than 1.95 millionth of a liter per cubic meter, and if there is less or less sweat than this, the autonomic nervous system does not play its role or the nerve fiber that controls the sweat glands is broken. If you have such an abnormal sweating system, the problem is that you often experience neurological pain, edema, or skin diseases.

Based on the mechanism by which our bodies sweat, Cure Lab’s affiliated company, Seym Co., Ltd., has developed a medical neurological examination device called “Nervous Disease and Skin Damage Examiner (SCNT), which can accurately identify abnormal areas of sweating just by wearing discoloration clothing. However, unlike the conventional method of applying reagents in a naked state, it is easy to wear sweaty clothes, and when the special ink of the fabric changes color and it accurately determines how much sweat has been emitted (no sweat on nerve damage).

Furthermore, it is the “central body temperature rise perspiration indicator” that has been developed to make it easier and more effective to use such sweating nerve examination technology in esthetic or spa.

What are the advantages of the Revital program?

The Iparibone Revital Program is a special program that enables skin and body care in esthetic as well as overall health care at once, using normal sweating devices in our bodies.

In particular, the differentiated point is that it is possible to check the customer’s body condition and increase reliability by providing data before and after management using sweating indicators, and toleth mats or Peter Therapists’ energy can be minimized while recovering to healthy conditions at a more fundamental level.
